A number of people have contacted my office about the footpath across Panitz Bridge.

For many, particularly people with mobility issues this footpath is bumpy and unpleasant to cross.

I am pleased to be able to inform you that we’ve been successful in our request to have the footpath surface improved with works being completed in early March.

Works included removal of the existing asphalt and bridge joints, resurfacing the asphalt and the installation of new bridge joints.

One constituent said to me that: "It's like floating on a cloud".

When constituents raise local issues with me, I am always happy when we can deliver outcomes to improve our community.
