While our Government provides accommodation for people sleeping rough, sometimes, for a whole variety of complex reasons, people sleep in less than ideal situations.
That’s where this shower comes in, which Vikki and the team at the Nerang Neighbourhood Centre have been advocating for.
Showering has such an impact on how someone feels about themselves.
That’s why we’ve funded this new space for Centre, so everyone can enjoy something as simple as a shower.
Now, people who drop in can freshen up, wash and dry their clothes and have a cuppa and chat with the team if they are looking for support.
