First Look at Coomera Hospital Concept Design

We recently released artist impressions of the new Coomera Hospital, giving a glimpse into what the facility will look like.

The project is now in the design phase, following the announcement of Multiplex Constructions as the successful tenderer.

The new hospital will deliver 404 new beds for the Gold Coast region.

This will include surgical, medical, ambulatory, sub-acute, emergency and mental health treatment facilities.

Northern Gold Coast residents can also expect a satellite medical imaging department, as well as new operating theatres, endoscopy rooms, birthing suites and consult rooms.

Specialty services will also be available at the Coomera Hospital including Intensive Care, Coronary Care and a Special Care Nursery.

Big Housing Build Update

Last month we welcomed our first families into the new social housing complex built in Nerang.

It has 10 units, with the lower floors built with accessibility in mind for older Queenslanders and people with a disability.

These types of investments change people’s lives. That’s why we’re committed to delivering more social and affordable homes across our State.

It’s part of a record $5 billion for social and affordable housing - the largest investment in Queensland’s history - to help deliver 13,500 homes.

Small Business Networking Event

Great to catch up with local business owners recently for another Gaven Small Business Networking event.

My parents owned a small business in this area, and I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many small businesses who make our community a better place.

This event gave attendees a chance to share advice and build connections within the community.
