Townsville’s newest social housing development will soon open its doors to some of the city’s most vulnerable.
The Palaszczuk Government provided $7.13 million to build the 16 two-bedroom units and two four-bedroom apartments at Mundingburra.
Construction on the project has just completed, which supported 24 full time equivalent jobs.
Under the Palaszczuk Government’s QuickStarts program, at least 237 new social homes will commence in North Queensland by June 2025.
